What is ARC?

ARC stands for Advance Reading Copy. These are copies of a book shared before it’s officially published. As an ARC reader, you get access to the book before anyone else, sometimes weeks or even months ahead of release.

Your main role is to read the book and share your impressions. Reviews or feedback may be requested before or after the book is published, depending on the author’s needs. Honest opinions are what matter most — you don’t need to be a professional critic. Your thoughts help the story reach new readers and provide insight into how the book is being received.

When reviews are requested, they are usually posted on public platforms such as:

  • Amazon

  • Goodreads

  • Other platforms specified by the author

Becoming an ARC reader is a chance to join a small, private circle of readers who love dark, slow-burn paranormal romances. You get early access, experience stories before the general public, and have the opportunity to help a book connect with its audience.

Anyone who enjoys reading carefully and sharing honest impressions can join. No special skills or prior experience are needed — just a willingness to read and engage with the story.

What is a Beta Reader?

Unlike ARC readers who mainly leave reviews, Beta readers are invited to help shape the story itself. You’ll read the manuscript and provide detailed feedback on elements like plot, pacing, character development, worldbuilding, and emotional impact. Your insights help me refine the story, strengthen tension, and ensure the romance and suspense hit in all the right places. Beta readers are not expected to “fix” the story, they simply share what worked for them, what felt off, and what could make the book better. Feedback is usually provided in written form, through email or comments directly in the manuscript, depending on the author’s preference.

Beta readers are ideal for anyone who enjoys engaging deeply with a story and has a keen eye for detail. This includes readers who like spotting plot holes, pointing out inconsistencies, commenting on pacing, analyzing character development, or helping refine dialogue and worldbuilding. If you enjoy thinking critically about stories or exploring how a book works beneath the surface, you will thrive as a Beta reader.

As a Beta reader, you become part of a small, private circle of readers who love dark, slow-burn paranormal romances and want to help the story reach its fullest potential. Anyone willing to read carefully and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback can participate — no prior experience is required.
